Fees & Payments Policy

Any person or entity selling items through AdSella's Services (hereinafter referred to as "Sellers") may be charged for using some of AdSella's services. This Fees & Payments Policy explains what fees apply to Sellers and when they are collected.

1. Accepting these Terms

Our Fees & Payments Policy is also a part of our Terms of Use. By opening an AdSella Portfolio, you are agreeing to this policy and our Terms of Use.

2. Type of Fees

Sellers may be required to pay the following types of fees:

A. AdSella Transaction Fee
When you make a sale on AdSella, you will be charged a AdSella transaction fee. This fee is 15% of the total sale, excluding sales taxes you collect.

For information on what happens to transaction fees in the event of a refund, please refer to the Checkout Policy.

B. Payment Processing Fees
In order to accept credit cards on AdSella, you will need to have or set up a supported payment processing account (for example, a PayPal or Stripe acount). This account allows your collection to process and charge credit cards and deposit earnings into your checking account. AdSella partners with various payment providers who have their own fee schedules, but you select and set the payment provider you want to use from among the supported providers. The payment processing fee calculated by your payment provider will be deducted upon charging a transaction. Note that this fee is applied to the entire transaction amount and is in addition to any other fees.

C. Advertising Fees
If you purchase an ad (or promoted listing) through AdSella, you will be charged a separate advertising fee. Advertising fees vary by opportunity and will be clearly outlined before you commit to purchasing an ad.

3. Currency Conversion

All fees charged by AdSella are in US Dollars.

4. Fee Avoidance

Any action by a seller to avoid paying a fee is considered fee avoidance and is strictly prohibited by AdSella. This includes, for example, encouraging buyers to purchase an item in your AdSella collection through another venue. The price stated in each listing description must be an accurate representation of the sale. Sellers may not charge excessive shipping fees. Sellers may not alter the item's price after a sale for the purpose of avoiding AdSella transaction fees, misrepresent the item's location, or use another user's account without permission.

5. Taxes

You are responsible for collecting and paying any taxes associated with using and making sales through AdSella's services. AdSella provides the tools for you to define the sales tax rate for your state including the taxability of shipping and delivery fees in your state. If for any reason the tools that AdSella provides for defining sales tax rates do not fully satisfy the requirements for tax collection in your area, you agree to let us know and not engage in any sale on AdSella. You are responsible for ensuring that proper taxes are collected for each sale you engage in on AdSella and to let us know of any tax collection issues within 7 days of any transaction you are involved in that occurs through AdSella's services.
